This is one of the most delicate image I've seen in a floral aubusson. Altough, aubusson pillows are hard to beat for beauty because of the details that are achieved.
This one has a lovely single flower in the center and is surrounded by a charming trellis pattern. It is simply an elegant pillow although there is nothing simple about the way it is made. The front of any aubusson is made of 100% wool and completely hand woven. It is very intricate work and difficult to appreciate how long it takes to create one of these works of art. Truly a piece to be passed down as an heirloom. It measures 21x21 and has a down and feather insert. Backed in cotton velvet with a zipper closure.
