This beautiful black aubusson pillow is one of the most striking pieces I have seen. The image is sharp and has a design in shades of brown and bronze against a black background. The colors on the shield are burnt sienna, a very lovely shade of sage and camel.

It is finished with a bronze tassel trim with an inch wide braid that is top stitched. There is a tremendous amount of detail in this design so your interest is sustained. The face of this aubusson is hand woven in a tight weave of 100% new zealand wool. Besides the fact that it is captivating, they become heirlooms because of their quality and last a very, very long time!

It is backed in a well coordinated camel color cotton velvet and has a zipper closure. Measures approximately 20x20 and has a down and feather insert.
