The largest owl in North America is the Great Horned Owl. It doesn't really have horns but, it gets its name because of the mass of feathers that grow up in such a way that it looks like "horns". This needlepoint pillow provides a striking image of the Great Horned Owl. The varied tones of brown and beige against the deep salmon background create a beautiful contrast.
